Job Summary
Manage and analyze information to support data management efforts,
ensuring data quality, security, and retention in accordance with
USAA internal policies and external laws and regulations.

The Opportunity
As a dedicated Information Management Analyst, you will:
--- Manage and analyze information using various techniques and
tools
--- Support data management efforts with business owners and
technical teams
--- Ensure data quality, security, and retention in accordance with
USAA internal policies and external laws and regulations
--- Participate in discussions with cross-functional teams to drive
consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness of information
management
--- Develop and maintain information asset inventories and ensure
data and assets are classified appropriately
--- Support delivery of information in accordance with Information
Governance standards and data management practices
--- Maintain metadata repository and proper metadata
association
--- Review, validate, and record metadata and data quality
information
--- Develop improvements in execution and enhancements to mitigate
data quality risks
Requirements
--- Bachelor's degree in business or science field (or 4 years of
related experience)
--- Minimum 4 years' experience in an information management
practice, business application function, or data delivery
--- Basic working experience following data management practices
and theories
--- Intermediate working SQL knowledge
--- Ability to build business knowledge through meaningful
partnerships
--- Demonstrated advanced communication skills and critical
thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
--- Experience with metadata management, Snowflake Cloud, and data
quality tools
--- Certified Data Management Professionals (CDMP)
Certification
--- Knowledge of BI tools or reporting experience with Tableau,
SAS
--- Financial services industry experience (experience with Fraud,
AML, or Disputes data)
