Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Valleywise Health Medical Center. As a critical care burn unit registered nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals with severe burn injuries.Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill burn patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
• Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and lab results, making adjustments to care plans as needed.Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in a critical care or burn unit setting.
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias, as well as manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure.
  • Proficiency in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and arterial line management.
  • Experience with ventilated patients and emergency medications.Preferred Qualifications
    • Level 1 trauma experience.
    • Triage skills.Benefits
