As a Pediatric and Adult Critical Care Nurse on our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from neonates to geriatrics, and develop your skills in critical care, trauma, and pediatrics.Job DescriptionThis is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in PICU or ICU and 1 year of phase 1 experience in a mixed peds/adult PACU at a level 1 trauma hospital. You'll work in our busy PACU, providing high-quality care to patients who are critically ill or injured. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing and prioritizing patient care needs
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Providing education and support to patients and familiesRequirements and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you'll need to have:
  • A current RN license in Arizona
  • At least 1 year of experience in PICU or ICU and 1 year of phase 1 experience in a mixed peds/adult PACU at a level 1 trauma hospital
  • Advanced certification in pediatric or adult critical care nursing
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred Qualifications
    • Experience working in a teaching hospital
    • Knowledge of trauma care and management
    • Experience with central line care and managementSalary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is estimated to be around $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience.
