• Certification Details
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Active AZ license or compact is needed.
  • Job Details
  • The right candidate will have 2 years of experience and hold an active BLS, ACLS, and AZ license or compact.
  • Travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon offer (with 2 max attempts).
  • There will be a Pass/Fail exam on day 1 of orientation, with an emphasis on sterile field.
  • Study materials will be provided with first day instructions.
  • COVID vaccine is required (or religious or medical declination form with appropriate documentation).
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months.
    • Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48hrs prior to acceptance of a position.
    • Maximum attempts is 2: Required for multiple units (as described in additional_info).
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts: 12 hr shifts. 7-7.
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
      • Floating: To similar or lower acuity.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: CV Tele D2 & C4
        • Floor specific orientation: 2 days on the floor.
          • Additional Details
          • Unit: CV Tele D2 (formerly, B3A) & C4
          • Beds: 32 bed unit
          • Certs: BLS, ACLS required
          • Ratios: 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio
          • Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment. Also, have a Clinical Supervisor in a management role.
          • Techs: PCTs - 1 per every 16 patients.
          • Scrub Color: Navy
          • Tele: Centralized telemetry. RNs must be able to interpret EKGs.
          • Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Hospitalist rounds during the day and on-call at night.
          • IV Team: No
          • RT 24/7: Yes
          • Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
          • Common diagnosis/Types of patients: Post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, general tele. Medications that may need to be titrated down.
