  • A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool.
  • The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience, an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact.
  • There will be frequent floating to the sister facility, Mercy Gilbert.
  • Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation.
  • COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2+ years of current tele experience
    • Active BLS, ACLS
    • An active AZ license or compact
    • Able to titrate drips
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts: 12 hr shifts. 7-7.
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend and additional specific weekend requirements for certain units.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: CV Tele B3A, A3 Neuro, MedSurg C5, MedSurg B2C
        • Unit details vary, including patient ratios, weekend requirements, tech support, etc.
        • Common diagnosis/types of patients: Post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, general tele, Neuro post surgical, post cranis, spine, CVAs post TPA, General MedSurg patients that require tele.
          • Additional Details
          • Floating is required.
          • Floating includes Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses.
          • Orientation includes a dysrhythmia exam and Sim lab.
          • No pediatrics, 15 y/o and older.
